I was at work when I got two flat tires, and yeah, that sucks enough as it is because it was late and many shops are closing at the time. I don’t live very close so I couldn’t risk driving home on the doughnut. I called Mr. tire auto service centers and initially got a later appointment. If I recall correctly, it was around 7 to 730 that someone was supposed to take a look at my tires. I was on hold briefly and someone answered the phone and said that I would be called back to confirm the price on my already confirmed and settled appointment. I waited about 30 minutes till it was almost about 630– and I never got the phone call. Thankfully, the Midas down the street was able to accommodate me. If it wasn’t for that, I would’ve been left stranded! Please make sure that when you tell someone you’re gonna call them back that you actually call them back.

Mike was amazing at informing me with all of my options for my services. He delivered what could’ve been bad news gracefully and understanding. I’m a single mom and I do a lot on my own and just need to know what I’m looking at before I panic. lol He helped me understand what I needed done and why. I’ve been coming to this Mavis for a long time and I’m never disappointed. Thanks for being an angel Mike!😉😇

Took my new wheels and tires to get mounted and balanced. When I arrived I noticed that the weights to balance the tires were on the outer lip of my new black wheels and my wheels were scratched up. I was told that that was the only way to balance them. After I was refunded I went down the road to another shop and they were happy to do the inner balance on the wheels. I dont recommend Mr tire to anyone who cares about their car because obviously they have no clue what they're doing.

I took my personal vehicle, a 2022 Acura RDX A-Spec, to Mr. Tire because it was overheating. The company I own, Goldfinch Services, has been doing business with this location for years—they service and repair our seven company vehicles—so I assumed it would be a reliable place to bring my personal car. I thought they could be trusted. I was wrong. When I brought my car in, they told me there were no leaks or issues with the radiator. They said a basic radiator flush and water pump replacement would fix the problem and charged me approximately $900 for the service and parts. Unfortunately, this was completely inaccurate. There was nothing wrong with either component. I brought the car back, understandably upset. The manager, Mike, said he had personally inspected the vehicle multiple times and suggested I take it to the dealer. I followed his advice and took the car to an Acura dealership, where I was told that the third and fourth cylinders needed to be replaced along with the head gasket. I had a very disturbing experience at the Mr. Tire location at 941 Route 66 on January 18, 2026.and oil change so I could safely drive home the next day. I had an appointment and dropped my vehicle off around 1:00 PM. Around 4:20 PM, I received a call saying my car was ready. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, I discovered it had been severely damaged and was no longer drivable. Staff told me my car had been “hit while parked” in their lot. This explanation did not make sense because there was no debris or evidence of an accident, in the parking lot yet the damage was extensive. The vehicle would not accelerate, the suspension rods were broken, a tire was bent, and there were multiple mechanical issues. This level of damage is far beyond what would occur from a simple parking lot incident. Because the explanation did not add up, I contacted the police and filed a police report. I then had to use my insurance to tow the vehicle at 8:00am the next morning. Since I was far from home, my insurance arranged for the car to be towed to Caliber Collision in Bayville, NJ, and provided a rental.
